Equitable, Affordable & Quality Access to
Literacy Development
Background
As a stepping stone for what may someday become a school, Latoya started WattsNatural Tutoring as a means to ensure striving readers have access to the support and resources they need. In response to the Covid19 pandemic, and its effects on student learning, WNT sought to bridge the gap between outside tutoring and skills students are expected to learn in school.
The vision of WattsNatural Tutoring is that all individuals seeking literacy development have access to services that are affordable, equitable, and of high quality.
Latoya the Author
Latoya has had two significant dreams and goals in life:
Write a book
Open a school in Tobago, her country of birth
As a published author, she has captured her life thus far in her first book, which she categorizes as autobiographical fiction.
